One fan even threatened to start a PETITION.

Love Island might only be four days in, but already the islanders are getting *very* acquainted.

Last night saw Sophie and Connor share a snog under the covers while Mike and Leanne also locked lips in the dog house.

But as ITV aired the steamiest episode yet, fans could barely watch, claiming they couldn't bare the "disgusting" kissing noises as they were amplified through the contestants' microphones.

"The kissing noises when they go to bed on love island are vomit inducing," one viewer complained.

While another agreed: "Can we start a petition to take the kissing noises away from #LoveIsland please and thank you".

A third chipped in: "CAN LOVE ISLAND PLS MUTE THE NOISE OF THEM KISSING IT MAKES ME FEEL SICK MY EARS DONT APPRECIATE IT ONE BIT #LoveIsland".

Somebody else said: "The slurpy kissing noises are back."

And even the other islanders couldn't help but point out Sophie and Connor's loud snogging, with Callum jokingly piping up: "I can hear you, tiger".

This isn't the first time fans have complained about the loud lip locking. In fact, it's a complaint which seems to come up every year.

But some viewers were even sure the noises had got louder.

"Must the kissing noise get louder every year? #LoveIsland," one wrote.

It's safe to say that both couples who shared kisses were positively gushing about it the next day.

Speaking to the girls in the dressing room, Sophie blushed: "I just think he's so cute.

"It's nice to spend time with him more and more each day. I need to calm down. I'm making myself cringe."

Meanwhile, Mike pulled Leanne aside, telling her: "I slept good though, I think that the kiss did it. I want a few more of those if you know what I mean."

At least the islanders are enjoying the kissing, even if we aren't eh?

While the smooching was certainly a talking point last night, it wasn't the first time any of the islanders had puckered up.

Shaughna and Callum were the first to smooch right before he was stolen by Eve, while Mike and Leanne had also shared a kiss ahead of their night in the dog house.

Alongside all the romance, it was Ollie Williams' departure and the arrival of two new bombshells that really got people talking last night, as the episode came to an end.

Welsh model Connagh Howard, 27, was one of the new arrivals, while recruitment consultant Finley Tapp, 20, was the other.

They will both be taking islanders on dates during tonight's show. You can find out more about who they've got their eyes on here.
