The Islanders broke up last week, but fans claim to have spotted the pair holding hands.

Love Island viewers are convinced they spotted Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart holding hands as they ran through the villa to watch Craig David perform on Sunday night.

It's been a tough few days for flight attendant Amy following the break down of her relationship with ex-half-boyfriend Curtis (especially now that Maura Higgins has her sights set on him).

But fans think that there's much more going on than meets the eye as scores believe they witnessed the former half-couple hand in hand as they made their way to watch the singer at the villa's Ministry of Sound party.

Hundreds of Love Island fans flocked to Twitter completely baffled over Curtis and Amy's relationship status.

"I can't be the only one who witnessed Curtis & Amy holding hands when running towards Craig David. Can someone please explain what I've missed???" exclaimed one person watching the ITV reality dating show.

This viewer wasn't alone as somebody else echoed: "Did anyone else notice Curtis & Amy holding hands walking to see Craig David."

"Did a just see Curtis & Amy running down the steps holding hands and happy there for Craig David? WTF is going on...?" shared a third fan.

Despite all the tears from Amy as she saw Curtis teaching Maura the 'Cha Cha Cha' last night, the former couple stood next to one another as they gathered round with the rest of the Islanders too, fuelling conspiracy theories.

Some even went as far to suggest that the show is a 'fix', with one viewer tweeting: "Anyone else notice Curtis & Amy walking into that party holding hands then standing next to each other in all the group situations, literally one scene after Amy's crying over him, on this non scripted and completely original show?"

Despite all the conspiracy theories, a spokesperson for ITV2 has denied to Pretty52 that the show is "fixed" or "set up" when approached for comment.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm
