Love Island Fans Are Outraged At Aaron's Hairy Arms Comment

Tuesday night's Love Island was a pretty dramatic ep. Not only was there an epic fallout between Hugo and the majority of the girls - after he said the word 'fake' about 100 times during a Mr and Mrs game - but two new gals entered the villa.

With such a dramatic episode, Twitter had a lot of thoughts. And some social media users are fuming that a comment made by Aaron about 'hairy arms' seems to have gone under the radar.

During the Mr and Mrs game - aka Knowing Me, Knowing You - one of the questions the islanders had to answer was 'what is your partner's biggest turn off?'

And it turns out Aaron's is hairy arms. You can watch below:

And viewers were fuming, after all... Doesn't everyone have hairy arms?!

One wrote: "WHY'S NO ONE HAVING A GO AT AARON FOR SAYING THAT HAIRY ARMS ARE A TURN OFF."

In light of Hugo's comments about being turned off by fakeness, another viewer added: "ARE WE GOING TO IGNORE AARON'S COMMENT ABOUT HAIRY ARMS??? Because having to wax your arms at the age of 13 when everyone bullied you for them WAS actually a traumatic teenage experience."

One responded: "Thank you for saying this!!!!!!! To this day I still do hair removal on my arms because of the bullying I got when I was a teenager. 13 years later!!"

And another said: "I would sit in class with my arms crossed and hands covering as much of my arms as I could. One day at school my male friend commented on how hairy my arms were so I went home and Veeted them and the next day he laughed at how bald my arms were."

A fifth added: "Am I the only one who thought Aaron's comment about hairy arms was WAY worse than Hugo's comment?!!! So glad my daughter (who obsesses about her arms) isn't old enough to watch this."

In last night's ep, Hugo was left in tears, after some comments he made during a villa challenge did not go down well.

In what was meant to be a fun game, the couples were asked to get to know each other before being asked questions about their partner's preferences.

However, Hugo's comments about not liking the 'fake' look did not go down well with the girls. He seemed genuinely shocked to learn Sharon and Faye were upset with him, telling the boys he "didn't mean anything malicious", before bursting into tears following a tense chat with Sharon.

Love Island is on weeknights at 9pm on ITV 2 and ITV Hub. The episodes are available to stream on BritBox the following morning.
