It's the moment we've been waiting for. ITV has announced Love Island will return on 28th June at 9pm on ITV2!

Excuse us while we scream with excitement!

We've been so patient waiting for Love Island to return to our screens and now the time has (almost) come.

The news was also confirmed on Instagram, with the official page writing: "A hot date for your diary: #LoveIsland returns to @itv2 and ITV Hub on Monday 28th June!"

While this year's contestants have not officially been announced just yet, it shouldn't be too long before ITV give a first look at 2021's islanders! And we can't wait to see who'll be entering the villa.

It's also reported that the Love Island casting team are looking for a disabled contestant in a bid to make this year's lineup more diverse - and they might just have found one.

According to reports, the show's producers have approached para-athlete and influencer, Milly Pickles.

"Casting are actively approaching for someone who visibly has a disability," a source told The Sun.

"It's all part of the show trying to be as diverse as possible."

The show will return to Majorca (

We also know that this year's series is definitely taking place in Spain. Despite the country being on the UK government's amber list, it's been confirmed that the Majorcan Villa and Casa Amor will host singles looking for love once again.

And Laura Whitmore and husband Iain Stirling will be returning to the show. A trailer for the upcoming series was recently released by ITV2, starring the host Laura and legendary commentator Iain.
