Thursday's episode of Love Island introduced two new islanders, showed viewers the aftermath of Brad and Faye's fight and saw Sharon and Aaron sneak onto the balcony for snog.

While fans were shook after seeing Sharon and Aaron's chemistry explode, many were left distracted by the loud, squelchy noises during their steamy kiss.

Some viewers took to Twitter to beg Love Island producers to turn down the islander's mics because the "horrible" kissing noises made them feel awkward.

"One thing I didn't miss about love island is the kissing noises," one viewer wrote, referencing the show's 18 months off the air.

Another Twitter user said: "I really don't wanna hear all these kissing sounds #LoveIsland"

"I love Love island until you hear the kissing noises," another person tweeted with the vomiting emoji.

A fourth viewer said: "every year the kissing noises make me gag".

One viewer tweeted a Harry Styles meme and said: "For the love of god. TURN. OFF. THE. MICS. WHEN. THEY. ARE. KISSING."

Sharon and Aaron's kiss happened after Wednesday's beer-pong game which made the islanders take part in a bunch of cheeky dares.

Sharon and Aaron headed to the terrace for a chat and after Aaron explained he and current partner Chloe don't have a romantic connection, Sharon said: "Do you know what? I would have stepped forward. I don't know why I didn't."

Sharon added: "I was saying to the girls 'I've kissed him [Aaron] more times than I've spoken to him.'"

Aaron replied: "Am I going to have lipstick all over my face everytime I kiss you?"

Sharon said: "I can't make any promises."

The pair then locked lips and shared a kiss. The pair later realised Sharon's foundation had covered Aaron's face.

Aaron and Sharon weren't the only pair to lock lips in Thursday's episode. Liberty and Jake, who have been coupled up since the first episode, shared a kiss.

Liberty said to Jake: "I'm actually a confident girl but you make me a bit nervous. I don't know why."

Jake said: "I love that. That's a compliment."

Speaking upstairs in the dressing room, Liberty admitted to the girls: "I can't stop smiling."

Chloe said: "You've got the feels!"

Love Island is on weeknights at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub . The episodes are available to stream on BritBox the following morning.
