Sometimes, fairytales do happen. A live action musical remake of Disney's iconic fairytale Cinderella is in the works, masterminded by TV megawatt James Corden.
Described as a "modern re-imagining of the classic fairytale", it's written and directed by Kay Cannon, the writer and producer behind Pitch Perfect.
So, what else do we know about the hotly anticipated reboot? Slipping on those glass slippers is Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello, who will play Cinderella herself.

The pop star, once a member of girl band Fifth Harmony, will also be involved in creating original music for the film.
Unlike 2015's Cinderella starring Lily James, this will not be a Disney production.
Co-produced by Leo Pearlman of Fulwell 73, it has been fast-tracked for production by Sony and is due to hit screens in February 2020.

What's more, Pose star Billy Porter just confirmed he'll be playing the fairy godmother. Bibbity bobbidi boo.
If there's anyone we'd like to get us ready for a ball, it's Broadway royalty and king of glittery accessories, Billy. Imagine the outfits that wand could produce.
Sharing the news in the New Yorker's Instagram stories, the star revealed: "I have a couple of movies that I'm working on - I'm gonna be playing the fairy godmother in the new Cinderella movie." [sic]

It's the latest in a long line of glittering achievements for Billy. At last month's Emmys 2019, he scooped the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, making history as the first openly gay African American man to be nominated or win in the category.
As it stands, Billy and Camila are the only two stars officially attached to the project.

When it comes to star-studded additions though, there are rumours a-plenty. Disney's Frozen star Idina Menzel is reportedly in talks to play Evelyn, the evil stepmother.
Cinderella comes to cinemas February 2020. Just be sure to be home by midnight.
