'Line Of Duty' Fans Think They've Spotted A Major Spoiler

'Line Of Duty' Fans Think They've Spotted A Major Spoiler

Line of Duty fans will have only just about recovered from nail-biting season five, which had us on the edge of our seats from start to finish.

The main mystery of the latest season - and indeed of most of the crime drama series - was the identity of the mysterious 'H'. And now, fans think they have finally been given a clue.

The shows stars, Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar, who play DI Kate Fleming, DS Steve Arnott, and Ted Hastings respectively, recently met for a drink ahead of filming season six.

"Cannae beat a catch up with these two. Next time we'll most likely be in uniform or at least Adrian will I'll be in a new 3 piece," wrote Martin, 35.

Later on in the night, Vicky, 36, shared a photo of the trio on Instagram.

For the night, Adrian, 61, wore a blue Helly Hansen jacket, baring the logo HH.

Instantly, fans took Adrian's jacket to be an admission, or at least a hint, from the cast that Superintendent Ted Hastings was in fact H.

"Look at the H on his jacket!," excitedly wrote one person, tagging a friend.

"Was there a clue in there Martin?" Asked another.

"Double H!!!! Spoiler alert!" Said another.

"H has the BEST hair ever!" said a fourth - and we're inclined to agree.

The fifth season of Line of Duty had the nation well and truly gripped as we watched in disbelief as Hastings was taken into custody under suspicion of being 'H'.

And as always, the series finale brought the nail-bitingly corrupt cop drama to an almighty crescendo, putting Hastings in the clear but bringing up more questions about the mythical "bent coppers" named 'H'.

C'mon guys, we all know Ted isn't H. You'll remember his famous words: "I didn't float up the Lagan in a bubble!"

Series six is expected in 2020, and we might *actually* find out who H is. Put us out of our misery, please!

Until then, here's everything we know about season six.
