Line Of Duty Fans Are Begging For Another Iconic Kate And Michelle Showdown In Finale

Fans are hoping Kate Fleming is alive so that she can take on Michelle Brandyce once again.

Line Of Duty fans are crossing their fingers that DI Kate Fleming survives Sunday's shoot-out cliffhanger, because there's a scene they really want the cast to revisit.

Any true LOD die hard will know that Kate (Vicky McClure) and Michelle Brandyce's showdown in series 5 was one of the most iconic scenes in the BBC show's history.

You know, the moment where Kate tells Michelle to "stop making a t*t" of herself and "p*ss off"?

Which is why they're arguing it would only be right for Michelle (Laura Elphinstone) to make a comeback ahead of the series 6 finale, to get another firm telling off from Kate.

Sharing a clip from the legendary argument, in which both women hold absolutely nothing back, one fan wrote: "If we don't get another scene like this between Kate and Michelle in the finale i'll riot".

The scene was a bit of an iconic moment for LOD superfans (

"This might be my favourite scene ever!!," wrote one fan under the clip.

As another agreed: "Great line, some occasions when I'd like to use it ..."

Fans will remember Michelle as a member of Patricia Carmichael's team, AC-3, in last season of the cop drama.

AC-3 were sent in to investigate AC-12, where Kate worked at the time.

However, Michelle's stint was short lived after she was forced to transfer out of AC-3 because she made a mistake that put Carmichael in an awkward position while investigating AC-12 and Ted Hastings. We haven't seen her since.

In order for yet another fiery exchange between the pair, we first need to know if Kate is alive, of course.

We're still having heart palpitations thinking of last week's nail-biting cliffhanger, which saw Kate Fleming facing off against cop-killer extraordinaire Ryan Pilkington (Gregory Parker) after being lured to a lorry park by Jo Davidson (Kelly Macdonald).

With both Kate and Ryan aiming their guns at one another, the screen went black - and we heard two shots fired before the credits rolled.

As for what happens next? We'll have to wait and see...
