Line Of Duty Theory Shows How Fans Believe Patricia Carmichael Is H

Fans have spotted a major (and pretty mind blowing) clue over the identity of H.

Line of Duty fans are certain Patricia Carmichael is H after spotting a sneaky clue.

Ever since DC Superintendent Patricia Carmichael (Anna Maxwell Martin) arrived back on the scene, viewers strongly believe she could be the elusive H.

We last saw the no-nonsense DCS Carmichael during series five, when she was drafted in as an independent investigator from AC-3 after the integrity of Superintendent Ted Hastings roused suspicions.

But why do viewers think she could be H? Well, it's all down to a comment made by Jimmy Lakewell who said AC-12 "need to look beyond the race claim to find H."

And some skilled armchair detectives have realised that if you take the letters in 'race claim' off the name Carmichael, you're simply left with the letter H.

Coincidence? Red herring?! Or is DCS Carmichael actually H?

Over on Twitter, one person said: "Lakewell: 'Look deeper into the race claim'.

"Race claim + H" rearranged = Carmichael. #LineofDuty."

While another wrote: "Jo and Ryan are brother and sister...Carmichael is H- calling it now."

And one tweeted: "Jimmy Lakewell told Steve to look more into the race claim. Take away Race claim from Carmichael and what do you have left.... C A R M I C H A E L R A C E C L A I M H - I've cracked it #lineofduty."

Meanwhile a fourth added: "'Look deeper into the race claim' Race claim rearranged + "H" = Carmichael Mother of God fella!!!!

"When I saw this on twitter earlier this week, my mind was blown. There's one thing and one thing only bar bent coppers I now want, and that's to discover the true identity of H."

Earlier this month, we told you about another mind blowing H theory.

Writing on Twitter, they explained: "#LineOfDuty theory, the 4th 'h' isn't a person, it's a place, The Hill. A station where the ocg hold enough sway to constantly rotate bent coppers through the ranks."

And other fans were floored by the theory, with one commenting: "Genius! It would also correlate to Dot's death blinking...H, first letter, second would be a vowel and he didn't make it past G, so second letter isn't A or E, which exonerates Hastings. If he made it to I, then he could have been hinting at Hilton, who recruited him..or The Hill."

Meanwhile another said: "Oh god why has no one thought of this before. Genius. Though have you also seen the H in the tiles on Steph's kitchen wall when Steve goes over? Either an Easter egg or class A trolling from the show..."

We can't get over some of these amazing theories, hats off to the armchair detectives!
