Laura Anderson stole the show on last night's Love Island Christmas Reunion by reminding us what an incredible role model she was to young women watching the show.
The former flight attendant had her heart broken more times than most people do in a lifetime during her stint in the Love Island villa, and despite facing betrayal from her man and from her friends, Laura managed to keep her head high, proving it's always better to forgive.
In case you've forgotten, Scottish babe Laura coupled up with Wes Nelson on day one, and things were going swimmingly for the pair, with Wes admitting he was 'falling' for Laura just a week into the ITV2 show.
But when Wes revealed he was happy with Laura but "could be happier," Megan Barton-Hanson famously made her move on the 20-year-old when she asked him for a kiss on the roof terrace.
Laura then moved on with Jack Fowler when he entered the villa, and it seemed like things were finally going Laura's way, until Jack's dreaded date with Georgia Steel that saw her insisting she's 'loyal, babe'.
After admitting he and Georgia shared a smooth (despite neither of them admitting who initiated it), Laura called it quits with Jack, and all hope seemed lost, until Paul Knopps walked in.
Laura and Paul seemed like a match made in heaven, but despite coming runners up in the final, it wasn't meant to be on the outside.
During last night's Love Island Reunion, Paul pulled Laura aside for one of those awkward chats that we've all missed seeing on our screens every day.
Despite Paul's recent claims that Laura moved on with Love Island series one contestant, Max Morley, before their relationship ended the chat went as smoothly as you can hope a chat with an ex could go, to be honest.
Once more, Laura was praised by viewers for her maturity towards her ex, reminding us all why we fell in love with her in the first place.
Speaking later, Laura said: "I think the conversation needed to happen, we're here together, and I'm happy."
And we're happy that you're happy, Laura.
