Lady Gaga has taken home the award for best artist at the 2020 MTV EMAs.
The 'Bad Romance' singer has been nominated for a whopping seven awards at this year's event, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Best Video for her duet with Ariana Grande, Rain On Me, which also secured a position in the Best Song and Best Collaboration categories.
Justin Bieber was hot on her heels with five nominations, as was K-pop group BTS.
Gaga beat the likes of Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and The Weeknd to take the Best Artist crown. It was her second award win of the night, having also taken home Best US Act. Unfortunately she wasn't so lucky in the Best Song category, losing to BTS.
Marking the 27th edition of one of the biggest nights in global music, the 2020 MTV EMAs is airing globally this evening, Sunday, November 8, on MTV.
