If there was ever the perfect time for Disney + to launch in the UK, it was now, during this coronavirus isolation period.

And those who have already signed up to the streaming platform, which launched yesterday, are loving the new CGI version of Lady and the Tramp, which went straight to stream instead of cinemas.

The reimagined version of the classic 1955 Disney film follows the same storyline - much-loved dog, Lady, meets abandoned pooch, Tramp, and they fall in love.

Except, it's been made with CGI that's so life life-like, you'd almost think the animals were real.

Taking to Twitter after watching the revamp, one user said: "Oh my goodness - so much turmoil! So much joy! Couldn't have loved it more! #LadyandtheTramp - best hour and a half spent in months! Thanks @disneyplus!"

Another said: "The #LadyandtheTramp remake on @DisneyPlusUK should of had a cinema release! I love it!!!! #DisneyPlusUK".

A third chimed in: "Just watched for the first time #LadyAndTheTramp and I mean... WOW, AMAZING. My score is 9.5/10. Thank you @disneyplus for this INCREDIBLE movie."

Meanwhile, another was so moved by the sad bits in the film, she was off to call her dog afterwards. LOL.

"Boy oh boy the new Lady and the Tramp movie I have been straight on crying for an hour and a half would you please excuse me I have to call my dog #DisneyPlus," she said.

With the film only available on Disney+ right now, there couldn't be a better time to make use of the platform's free trial.

But we warn you... you won't want to get rid.

One social media user even commented that she'd only planned to use the free trial, but now, after watching the film, she's keeping her subscription.

The platform's release has come at the perfect time given that the UK is isolating at home right now under government enforced lockdown.

What better time to watch movies than right now after all?

We reckon having a subscription to see you through isolation is so worth the dosh - which is £59.99 per year or £5.99 per month.

But if you want to decide for yourself, here's a list of all the films and series' on the platform that are available to watch.

You can sign up to the free trial here.
