If you're a fan of slasher movies but also spent your summer binging Love Island, we've just found your ideal Halloween watch.
ITV's latest reality offering is Killer Camp, the show in which contestants have to work out who is the 'murderer' among them to win a cash prize. It's perfectly ridiculous as a premise - yet viewers are hooked already.
The show sees 11 young Brits arrive at 'Camp Pleasant', a picturesque lakeside lodge in America, where they're surprised to learn they won't be having Love Island-esque summer of love. Instead, they are told there is a secret murderer among them.
It's then the campers job to work out who the murderer is before they get caught, as he or she slowly picks them off one by one. (Not literally, obvs).
The longer they survive, the more cash they win. It's that simple.
The contestants are killed off in a number of outrageous and sexy ways. Already, we've seen Warren meet a grisly end by being impaled by a giant stone penis. Yes, you did read that right.
It's honestly like Geordie Shore meets Cluedo meets I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Killer Camp is superbly kitsch, from the contestants who are dressed in cliche American teen get-ups (cheerleader and footballer included), to the their nicknames ('The music nerd', 'the vegan' 'the gym bunny'), the yellow school bus they ride in on and the cheesy 'camp councillor', played by Canadian comedian Bobby Mair.
Killer Camp on Sunday 27th October and is for the five nights leading up to Halloween, so you've got a couple of days to catch up on if you're just starting it now.
ITV explain: "The aim of the game is to earn cash whilst avoiding being killed and therefore eliminated from the game. Over five bloody nights the murderer will bump off their fellow campers in ever more extreme, hilarious and inventive ways; it's the job of the innocents to work out who is responsible before it's too late...
"Can the innocents find the killer amongst them and walk away with a big money prize? Or will the killer remain undetected and steal their cash?"
Just two episodes in, people are already hooked.
"So #KillerCamp is my new favourite tv show... if you love horror then this is up your street! Homage to the 80s slasher movies meets love island wannabes!," wrote one fan.
"Guys. KILLER CAMP on itv. It's like murder love island. I am so completely sold," wrote another.
"@KillerCampTV may be the greatest TV programme ever. #KillerCamp," said a third.
You can watch the first two episodes on ITVHub now, and the show continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
