Jo Frost - aka Supernanny - doesn't mince her words, and in last night's episode of Supernanny USA, she gave some rather direct advice for parents Jeff and Crystal.

Jo had been called in to help the desperate family-of-five, whose kids were basically ruling the roost. But after observing the family dynamics, and learning that Crystal had installed CCTV cameras in the kids' bedrooms, Jo sat the couple down for a serious chat.

You can watch a clip of the awks conversation below:

In the chat, Jo slams Crystal for having installed the cameras, and is fuming to find out she had been "snooping" on her, too, as she went for a chat with the kids in their room.

"Your need for control, Crystal, is stifling," Jo begins.

"The surveillance cameras in the bedrooms? I mean, they don't even have them in cells in prisons. You have surveillance cameras in their bedrooms! It doesn't get any more invasive than that."

Yikes.

"Even I went down to have a private conversation with the children, and you actually took it upon yourself to spy on me," she added.

"As a professional, you invaded my space, and my privacy."

After her telling off, Crystal sits quietly before admitting: "It was ridiculous anyway, because I'd heard all of that."

Jo then went on to explain that instead of invading the kids' privacy, the parents would be better chatting to the children on a more equal level.

"You would learn so much more if you actually connected with the kids and heard their stories and they all felt it was fair because they all had the chance to talk about it," Jo continued.

Crystal later added: "It's hard to look at yourself and realise your own faults, and I didn't realise how much I am trying to control here. I'm excited to learn to let go of some things so everyone can be a little bit lighter around here."

One thing is for sure, we would not like to get on the wrong side of Supernanny!

You can catch up on the episode over on All4 now.
