James Corden sent Gavin and Stacey fans into a frenzy on Thursday, sparking huge speculation of a reunion for the comedy series.
The TV presenter, who played cheeky chappy Smithy, wrote the hilarious sit-com alongside his co-star Ruth Jones, who played Smithy's girlfriend, Ness.

James' stardom has since sent him to America where he now presents The Late Late Show with James Corden which is famous for its Carpool Karaoke segment featuring huge celebrities.
Despite his fame, it would seem that James hasn't forgotten his Barry Island roots as he reminisces over old Gavin and Stacey scenes.
The actor-come-presenter shared a hilarious clip of Smithy joking about how hard it is to order a group takeaway - yep, it's a fairly iconic scene.

Along with the BBC clip, James wrote: "Oh man, I've not seen this in so long. Some lovely memories right there x."
The sentimental post prompted huge speculation that a Gavin and Stacey reunion could be on the cards, despite bosses being adamant that there would be no more episodes after season three aired in 2010.
One fan tweeted: "Oi James don't be that guy that doesn't bring an excellent show back, 3 series just wasn't enough."

A second pleaded: "Christmas special please James," while a third added: "Bloody love this show! Will you ever make anymore?!"
"Please bring us just one more Xmas special episode oh and a new series would be fantastic," a third begged.
The hope is very much still alive as earlier this year Ruth revealed how she and James had been in talks about their former roles.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she said: "James and I were talking about this [their characters] the other day.
"I think Baby Neil, who is now probably about 11... Ness is training him down the slots. She's training him in the art of the dodgy grabber machine and how to weigh the two pennie."
C'mon James, the people need a Christmas special!
