The football manager had no qualms with emptying the camp's dunny because he was unable to smell what was inside.

I'm A Celebrity viewers were left in shock on Monday night when Harry Redknapp revealed he has no sense of smell, which some may argue makes him the perfect candidate to enter the jungle.

The football manager made the revelation when he was tasked with emptying the jungle dunny out along with John Barrowman, who made no secret of his disgust over the smell.

Harry admitted he had no problem with becoming the designated dunny cleaner because he couldn't smell anything.

When quizzed by John, he revealed he actually had no sense of smell at all.

Harry has previously spoken about how a road accident left him without the ability to smell 28-years-ago.

Clearly shocked by what he had just learned, John shared the news with the rest of the celebrities when they headed back to camp.

Viewers were equally surprised by the revelation, with one tweeting: "How does Harry not have a sense of smell omgggg."

"Harry Redknapp and his non existent sense of smell. Fascinating lol," another amused viewer added.

"Never seen or known anyone else with no sense of smell before..." a third wrote.

This year's I'm A Celeb is a little different to the series we're used to having on our screens, thanks to Holly Willoughby, who graciously stepped in to cover for Ant McPartlin, who's currently on a presenting hiatus following a stint in rehab.

The presenter faced criticism on Twitter on Sunday night from fans who claimed she couldn't match up to Ant, but last night she hit back at doubters with a hilarious gag.

Holly opened the show on Monday night as if she was on This Morning, telling viewers: "Coming up in around 15 minutes, Emily Atack is here to answer the question, 'How can I conquer my fear of snakes?' in today's Bushtucker Trial."

Catching onto the joke, Dec continued: "After that, there's news from our royal correspondent Harry Redknapp. He's been chatting to several members of the Windsor family. I'm looking forward to that."

And Holly finished with: "And I'll be meeting a man who saves hundreds of pounds a year by wearing children's clothes."

"Stop, stop, stop. That was a private conversation," Dec joked.

I'm A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
