I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has received a number of complaints over Jordan North's vomiting scenes, which aired on Sunday evening.

The terrified BBC Radio 1 DJ, 30, who has a fear of heights, was physically sick at the prospect of abseiling off a cliff edge in north Wales during the show's launch show, which was viewed by 12 million people.

The first challenge for the 2020 celebrities meant half the group were positioned at the bottom of the cliff and in charge of controlling the ropes, meanwhile the other half - including Jordan - had to abseil down.

And as each celeb made their way to the edge of the cliff, Jordan couldn't control his fear and was sick into a nearby bush.

Now, it has emerged that ITV has received a small number of Ofcom complaints over the graphic scene.

An Ofcom spokesperson told The Sun: "I can confirm that we received 37 complaints in relation to Jordan North vomiting."

The nature of the complaints is currently unclear, but over on Twitter and some viewers were not impressed.

One wrote: "Did i really have to see jordan north being sick before he's even done anything?"

While another said: "I did NOT need to see jordan north's vomit in the first 30 minutes."

Others felt sorry for the radio DJ, with one adding: "I can't believe they just showed Jordan North's vomit coming OUT OF HIS MOUTH on national television. Poor lad."

Many pointed out that Jordans reaction could result in him being voted into every trial. And last night, the DJ - along with Shane Richie - took part in this series' first Bushtucker Trial, The Viper Vault.

Terrified Jordan was locked in a pit with 30 snakes, admitting the serpents are his biggest fear. "That is the most terrifying thing I've ever done in my life... ever," he said at the end of the trial.

However, a small consolation is the fact that fans are already calling him King of the Jungle. Yep, it turns out we like a scardey-cat.
