'I'm A Celebrity' Fans In Stitches As Ant McPartlin Rinses Declan Donnelly For 'Blunder'

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were back together and bantering last night as I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! returned to screens.

The presenting duo were reunited in the jungle once more following Ant's stint in rehab last year - and it wasn't long before they were mocking each other mercilessly once again.

Ant wasn't shy about bringing up his absence from the show last year either, even using it as a dig against Dec when he 'accidentally-on-purpose' made a mistake in the middle of an introductory segment.

When telling the celebs who would be entering the jungle, Dec said the wrong celebrity's name in his typically slapstick style.

The clearly intentional blunder came after Ant joked about somebody being made of 'Wright stuff' for the show (clearly a reference to footie legend Ian Wright.)

To which Dec interrupted, wrongly introducing Kate Garraway.

"I've had a year off, what's your excuse?," Ant quipped back.

The silly moment was instantly picked up by fans, who took to social media to delight in the fact the duo were back together and rinsing each other once more.

"'I've had a year off, what's your excuse?' God I've missed having these boys on my screen! So happy #ImACeleb," one fan wrote.

While another added: "I'm a celeb is back...and so is Ant!! So good!! "I've had a year off, what's your excuse?"

A third chipped in: "'I've had a year off, what's your excuse?' IVE MISSED ANT SO MUCH #ImACeleb"

"You can tell @antanddec DEC is soooooo happy to av his wingman back #ImACeleb #AntandDec @imacelebrity #bestpals," a fourth wrote.

It comes after This Morning's Holly Willoughby took Ant's place in the jungle last year, as he took some time off professional duties during the fallout of his drink drive conviction.

Holly was praised for how well she handled filling Ant's shoes, but at the time she assured fans it was only ever a one-off gig.

Welcome back Ant, you've been missed!
