I’m A Celebrity Viewers Accuse AJ Pritchard Of Lying About Jessica Plummer Being 'Petrified' After Trial

Last night, I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! viewers tuned in to watch AJ Pritchard and Jessica Plummer take on The Harm-ory Bushtucker Trial.

But fans had a surprise when, despite Jessica being terrified of a camp rat earlier in the show - Strictly's AJ was also screaming in fear.

And fans were not happy when, upon the pair's return, AJ claimed it was only Jess who was petrified during the challenge.

As part of the trial, AJ and Jess had to navigate their way through a series of rooms - in total darkness - to collect a maximum of 12 stars for camp.

But of course, as this is I'm A Celeb, the pair soon realised they'd be joined by some camp critters, including pigeons, bugs and rats.

And AJ was absolutely terrified during the trial, with a trembling Jess doing all she could to comfort her campmate.

"You've got this, I'm here AJ," said Jess, as AJ started screaming and calling out her name.

"Jess, Jess, hello... Jess," screamed AJ. "Can you hear me... Jess... Jess."

Ant and Dec were of course in stitches at AJ's reaction, as Jess repeatedly told him to "focus and calm down".

Viewers also found it hilarious, but many were fuming when, as the pair returned, AJ told Vernon that Jess was "petrified".

One tweeted: "Wait Vernon just said AJ said Jess was petrified but AJ was the one screaming terrified with Jess calming him down?"

While another said: "I know we said Shane was getting a bitchy and tetchy but AJ MAN. What a snake saying that jess was petrified. Did you hear your screams?"

"Cannot believe AJ gone round saying Jess was terrified when he was the one screaming her name," added another viewer.

Meanwhile one tweeted: "AJ apparently telling Vernon that Jess was petrified though? Uh who was the one screeching hun, cos it wasn't her!"

The pair managed to get half the total number of stars, meaning six meals for camp. At the end of the show, it was revealed that Shane Richie would be taking on the next trial, which will air in tonight's episode at 9pm on ITV.
