If Disney Heroes Had Gone To Hogwarts This Is Where They'd Be Sorted

Where would the Sorting Hat put them?

Here at Pretty52 we love all things Disney, and we love all things Harry Potter, so what better way to celebrate them than creating a mash-up?! Let's be honest, it only makes sense that the two most magical things go hand in hand!

There are some pretty obvious ones on this list (like of course Belle is a Ravenclaw) but there might just be a few that surprise you. Remember that all Slytherins' aren't evil they can possess qualities like ambition and often go on to achieve great things.

Let's get the Sorting Hat out to check which houses these Disney characters would be sorted into if they attended the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Gryffindor

Members of Gryffindor are regarded as brave, courageous and even sometimes a bit reckless.

Anna (Frozen)

It's easy to see that Anna from Frozen is a Gryffindor as she is an optimistic and determined person (remind you of anyone... *cough, Hermione*.) While she's brave to search for her sister, Elsa, when she runs away, she had no idea what was out there. Y'know, like a giant snow monster?

Mulan (Mulan)

Can you get any more brave than Mulan? I mean, she impersonates a man, goes off to train with fellow recruits, and helps ward off a Hun invasion. This girl kicks ass and HP would be lucky to have her in his friendship group!

Merida (Brave)

Besides giving us all the hair goals in the world, Merida is probably the biggest Gryffindor of them all. Not only is she a bit reckless (a bit like Ron that time he decided to fly a car to Hogwarts, only for it to get wrecked by the Whomping Willow) she also is awesome at archery, and is insistent she controls her own destiny. Merida is certainly no damsel in distress.

Pocahontas (Pocahontas)

Pocahontas is shown to be a free spirited and noble character as she bravely intends to sacrifice herself for the sake of others safety. The sorting hat would definitely put her in Gryffindor.

Simba (The Lion King)

The Gryffindor crest has a lion on it, need we say more? Simba literally saves hundreds of animals from his evil uncle Scar. What a badass!

Tarzan (Tarzan)

Tarzan was a bit tricky to sort as we didn't know whether he belonged in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. He's unique and resourceful, like a Ravenclaw, but he also embodies courage. A bit like Harry who is constantly faced with tough choices throughout the series, Tarzan is torn between embracing civilization and staying with his gorilla family.

Woody and Buzz (Toy Story)

We coupled this pair together- because what is one without the other? They're best friends and come hand in hand. Similar to Ron and Harry, they might not always see eye to eye, but they're always there for their friends.

Nemo (Finding Nemo)

Nemo is the Neville of the Disney world. He sometimes seems a bit lost and clueless, but he's super brave. Neville's parents were tortured by Voldemort, but he used this as a force to battle with even more courage; just like Nemo who refuses to let his foreshortened fin hold him back from anything.

Hufflepuff

The Hufflepuff house values hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play.

Cinderella (Cinderella)

Although Cinderella could be a Gryffindor (as she's brave enough to escape her life of hardship), we think she'd be better in the house of Hufflepuff because of her kindness shown to other. Especially the cutest mouse ever, Gus! Plus and she must be a seriously hard worker after doing all those chores for her wicked stepsisters!

Snow White (Snow White)

Snow White is well and truly a Hufflepuff as she shows her patience and loyalty to the seven dwarfs. Her loyalty to them reminds us of Tonk's dedication to Lupin, she decides to marry him even though he is a werewolf.

Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)

Ok, so Sleeping Beauty was a bit tricky (y'know since she's asleep for most of the movie...) but we think her overly-trusting nature lands her in this house. Her curiosity got the best of her as she pricked her finger on that needle.

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)

Although Tiana could be a Ravenclaw, her belief in hard work and strong sense of honor and integrity land her in Hufflepuff.

Dory (Finding Nemo / Dory)

Okay let's go through the list, shall we? Loyal? Yes, to Marlin with helping him find his son. Hard worker? Yes, even though she forgets easily she strives to remember the Sydney address. Dory always sees the best in people, a true Hufflepuff if you ask us!

Sully (Monsters Inc.)

Hufflepuffs are not as competitive as the other houses, which is why we think Sully is perfect here. Although he's great at his job, his main priority is making sure Boo is safe.

Ravenclaw

Members of Ravenclaw house embody characteristics such as intelligence and wisdom, and occasionally even a bit of quirkiness like Luna Lovegood.

Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

Belle's favourite hobby is to read. She is super intelligent and has a vivid imagination. A true Ravenclaw!

Elsa (Frozen)

We imagine Elsa as being similar to Luna Lovegood as she is a bit unique. She holds superpowers that are alien to everyone around her (just like Luna's constant chattering about mystical creatures!) but is also highly intelligent in that she knows she could be a threat to others.

Alice (Alice In Wonderland)

Alice emphasises the Ravenclaw trait of quirkiness. Let's be honest, she finds a talking rabbit, drinks weird potions and falls into another world through a random hole? Sounds like she already belongs at Hogwarts.

Lilo (Lilo and Stitch)

Ravenclaws celebrate those who are unique, and this is exactly what Lilo does when Stitch arrives! Lilo's peronsonality is spirited and highly-eccentric.

Slytherin

The Slytherin house is home to students who are cunning, resourcefulness and ambitious.

Tinkerbell (Peter Pan)

Tinkerbell can be a little selfish and vain sometimes, and even though Slytherin is not a home solely for villains, we think she'd be best here. She's cute, but her cunning ways sometimes overwhelm those around her.

Ariel (The Little Mermaid)

Ariel is extremely resourceful and determined in her desire to see the world. She's a bit like Snape who also once made a wrong decision. Ariel is a spirited and headstrong mermaid with a strong passion for adventure and exploration.

Mike Wazowski (Monsters Inc.)

Mike belongs in Slytherin house due to his ambition. He wants to do his best and strives for excellence. Even though Sully is his best friend, his patience wears thin when it comes to their different work ethics.
