I Am Not Okay With This dropped on Wednesday on Netflix and people are loving it so much they're bingeing it all in one go.

The seven part series dubbed the new Stranger Things - which makes sense given it's produced by the same people - is all about angsty teen Sydney (Sophia Lillia) who attempts to navigate high school as a "boring 17-year-old white girl" who 'isn't special,' something she claims in the opening of the trailer.

She seems pretty down and is dealing with some anger issues, partially as a result of her dad passing away last spring. But quickly, Sydney discovers she has super powers.

Now you can see why it's Stranger Things-esque.

And people are digging the brand new show based on Charles Forsman's novel, bingeing it all in one sitting, no doubt helped along by the 30-minute episodes.

One said: "I Am Not Okay With This on Netflix is great and also a really quick binge watch".

Another added: "Binge watching Netflix's I Am Not Okay With This!"

A third sacrificed sleep for it: "Sooo somehow I binge watched 'I am not okay with this' and slept only about 4hours any regrets - Absolutely not hopefully there will be a 2nd season".

Another sung its praises too: "This show right here was a well worth binge watch! I couldn't peel myself away from the TV. I am not okay with this was absolutely brilliant".

One added: "Just finished i am not okay with this and I NEED MORE EPISODESFJDJDJ".

And as the bingers made their way to the ending, the reactions were of surprise and shock.

Sydney calls herself a boring teen...that is until she finds out she has super powers (

One penned on Twitter: "I am not okay with this ending blew my mind'.

Another said: "Watched i am not okay with this and the ending...... caught me so off guard".

A third even called the ending "twisted".

The coming of age drama series certainly sounds like one to get on the watch list pronto, especially as things look set to get a bit dark, with Sydney sprinting away from something at the start of the trailer... covered in blood.

There goes tonight's plans.
