Fans of off-the-wall teen dramas, brace yourselves, as Netflix's upcoming offering I Am Not Okay With This finally lands on Wednesday.

From the producer of Stranger Things and the director of The End of the F***ing World Jonathan Entwistle, comes the new series based on Charles Forsman's graphic novel.

It follows the story of angsty teen Sydney (played by Sophia Lillis), who attempts to navigate high school and the highs and lows of coming-of-age - including an unrequited crush on her best friend and her family drama - all while dealing with her growing super powers.

"Dear Diary, go f**k yourself," she says.

In the trailer, viewers see a snippet of what Sydney has been dealing with. She explains: "I keep losing my temper... I don't want to but it just spills out.

IANOWT (for short) also stars The Good Wife's Sofia Bryant, Guardians of the Galaxy's Wyatt Oleff and American Housewife's Kathleen Rose Perkins.

"I Am Not Okay With This is an irreverent origin story that follows a teenage girl who's navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her," says Netflix.
