Although the highly anticipated new series of Love Island starts tonight, applications for the show are still open as bosses are continue to look for potential islanders for later episodes - and you could be one of them.

The initial cast was confirmed last week, but as fans will remember, new singletons looking for love are introduced throughout the series to add more drama - and to test the couples who are already in the villa.

So, if you fancy following in the footsteps of Molly Mae Hague, Shaughna Phillips, Amber Gill and so many more famous islanders listen up. The application form can be found on the ITV website and you have until Friday 16th July to complete it.

All applicants must be 18 years or over and hold a passport that is valid until at least February 2022. You also must also be available for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks while the show is in the production of the show.

ITV said they are looking for "vibrant singles" from across the UK who are looking to escape the grey weather at home for a "summer of love."

The entry form states: "The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island."

In the meantime, ITV gave viewers a first look inside the villa and a sneak peek at the first coupling ceremony, which is set to air on Monday evening.

Ahead of the launch, host Laura Whitmore gave a tour around the Majorcan villa, where the islanders will find love for the rest of the summer.

In the clip, Laura shows us around the shiny new pad, which also includes a dog house this year. The villa also includes a gorgeous infinity pool, complete with plenty of day beds.

You'll be pleased to know the hideaway has of course returned for 2021.

Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 28th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
