In a matter of days, Netflix will drop its new show, Julie & The Phantoms - and if you're a High School Musical fan you won't want to miss it.

It's even got High School Musical creator, Kenny Ortega, at the helm - so let's face it, it's going to be good!

We can't wait to have some catchy new tunes stuck in our heads...

The show will drop on the streaming platform on 10th September and it'll be made up of nine, 30-minute episodes which we intend on bingeing in one go.

It focuses on high school student Julie (Madison Reyes) who lost her passion for music when her mum sadly passed away last year.

But when the ghosts of three musicians from 1995 (Charlie Gillespie, Jeremy Shada and Owen Patrick Joyner) suddenly appear in her mum's old music studio, Julie begins to feel inspired to start singing and writing her own music once again.

Making friends with the ghosts, they convince Julie to create a band - aptly named Julie and the Phantoms. The series is all about the highs and lows of life, growing up, following your passions and believing in yourself.

Not only does it sound like a heartwarming story, but we're also expecting some seriously impressive dancing and heaps of catchy songs, just like High School Musical.
