You might remember hearing that 90s movie, She's All That is being remade, but with a twist.

Yep, the iconic film is returning to the big screen, but instead it'll be called He's All That, and will see the main protagonists' gender roles switched round.

And now we know that original cast member Rachael Leigh Cook is on board for the reboot, too.

Rachael played Laney Boggs in the film - a geek who's life completely changes after a makeover.

In He's All That, she'll be returning in a new role, as the mother of Padgett Sawyer (played by TikTok star Addison Rae), a social media influencer who is popular at school

"I'm thrilled to be reunited with so many familiar faces! This version has a great new spin that I think people will really enjoy," Rachael said in a statement after her casting was announced.

Much like She's All That, the new film will see Padgett attempting to transform the least popular kid in school, except this time the cameras will follow her side of the story instead, as she helps the nerdy boy (played by Tanner Buchanan) to become prom King.

She does this after a huge argument with her boyfriend, which leaves her feeling red faced and isolated.

But, if we know our rom-coms, Padgett is about to gain a lot more from the project than she could ever imagine.

Speaking to People magazine, Tanner said: "That the girl is the one 'making over' the guy.

"In reality, they're both making over each other into better people, like in She's All That.

"It really holds true to the original story, but is just updated in a way that feels current ... cell phones and social media are pretty integral parts of our lives now!"

The movie also features stars such as Madison Pettis, Isabella Crovetti, Annie Jacob, Myra Molloy, Peyton Meyer.

Excitingly, Mark Waters - who directed Mean Girls and Freaky Friday - will be behind the camera directing the rebooted flick.

Producers Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay will also be back working on the project, having spent time working on the OG movie.

And in the writing room, the original creator of She's All That is working on the remake, too

We can't wait to see this!
