After possibly the longest wait in the history of television, the final season of Game of Thrones is almost here.
There are lots of theories as to how it could all go down, but one thing we do know is that the Iron Throne is very much still up for grabs.
But now we've finally been given a teeny tiny hint of what will be coming our way in April, because let's face it, we've waited long enough.

Admittedly, it doesn't give us a huge amount to go off, but however big or small, we were more than ready for an update.
HBO has released a trailer of its biggest shows and Game of Thrones obviously made an appearance. For roughly five seconds (and that's being generous), we get a snippet of the eighth and final season.
It shows Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, approaching Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in Winterfell, which we all know belongs to the Starks and has done for a casual 8,000 years.
It becomes apparent that in between seasons, Sansa and Jon clearly had a little chat about mixing up their ancestral homes.

In the trailer, Sansa is seen saying to Daenerys: "Winterfell is yours, your Grace."
Sansa has certainly learned how to hold her own after seven seasons of brutality, so we can imagine this would have been a pretty tough decision to make. We're wondering whether at this point in the show Jon knows that his new lover is in fact his auntie.

But it gives us an insight into what could conspire over six episodes: does this mean everyone is paying attention to the White Walkers or will Cersei stuff things up by taking down Danny?
Unfortunately, we haven't a clue because five seconds isn't exactly much to go off but in three short months it should all become clear.
