Adam Sandler's new comedy Hubie Halloween landed on Netflix today, and fans have spotted a touching tribute to the actor's late co-star Cameron Boyce.

Boyce, who starred alongside Sandler in Grown Ups, passed away in July 2019 at the age of 20 due to an 'ongoing medical condition'.

Brand new horror-comedy Hubie Halloween landed on the platform today, and viewers who sat through the credits noticed an emotional nod to the late actor.

The tribute appears part way through the credit reel with a photo of the child actor, and the words: "In loving memory of Cameron Boyce.

"Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew. You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day."

Boyce, who would have celebrated his 21st birthday in May, played Sandler's onscreen son in both Grown Ups and the sequel, Grown Ups 2.

Tragically, Boyce was due to star in Hubie Halloween but passed away days before filming began.

Speaking about his co-star on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sandler said: "That kid was a great kid. His family is amazing. I watched him grow up and become a superstar.

"My kids worshipped him. He came to my daughter's bat mitzvah. He came and literally signed - I mean, that bat mitzvah was gigantic, there were 400 people there, and he signed every kid's autograph.

"He was just the nicest kid. He would always have charities going on. He would always speak to me, 'Can you do this, can you do that?' It was always for charity. He never cared about anything else. Just a nice solid, talented kid."

On the day of his death on 6th July 2019, Boyce's parents wrote in a statement to ABC News: "It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron.

"He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated."

Cameron's family has since partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation to create K(NO)W SUDEP NOW! - an initiative to bring awareness and to end SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy).
