‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off' Trailer Has Got Us So Excited For The Show

Seeing Louis Theroux in an apron has really brightened our day.

The Great British Bake Off is back with its annual celebrity edition for Stand Up to Cancer - and the trailer has got us so excited for its return.

Giving us a glimpse of its all-star signings in action, from the best Love Island contestant of all time, Ovie Soko, to BBC documentarian Louis Theroux, the first look appears as joyfully frantic and haphazard as ever.

"Are they gonna surprise me?," judge Paul Hollywood questions, "I doubt that..."

We then see The Inbetweeners actor James Buckley make an absolute mess of a batch of biscuits, Kelly Brook dramatically splatter flour all over herself and 'You're Beautiful' singer James Blunt tenderly put his ear to a sponge and ask it: 'Do you need a little bit longer?"

Of course, it wouldn't be bake off if there wasn't an innuendo or two - this time from Carol Vorderman who quips about the shape of her buns, and Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt who innocently asks: "How do you get your dough stiff?"

Plus, there's an injury thrown in for good measure, as YouTuber and Strictly star Joe Sugg is seen lying on the floor after chopping the end of his finger off. Ouch.

We've got some comedy gold from Louis thrown into the mix, too, as he stares intently into his oven and quips: "I like it on Bake Off when they do this, it's like they really care".

While Ovie is seen joking about with comedian Russell Howard - an unexpected pairing we can't wait to see in action.

It's not just these stars competing to win Star Baker and maybe even the Bake Off trophy.

Also donning their pinnies are former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss, British tennis number one Johanna Konta, actress and presenter Caroline Quentin, TV judge Rob Rinder and The One Show presenter Alex Jones.

Plus - we're not done yet - comedians Joel Dommett, Mo Gilligan and Jenny Eclair will be joined by This Morning's Alison Hammond and none other than Queer Eye's Tan France in this year's cast, as they make an appearance in the famous tent.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer return to Channel 4 next Tuesday 10th March.
