If you've got a big Great British Bake Off shaped hole in your life after last week's grand finale then worry not! The show is back again this week for a special episode.

Entitled Great British Bake Off Best Bits the show will be looking back at the best moments from the last 10 years of the show.

Yup, we're expecting howlers such as baked-alaska gate, Enwezor's shop bought fondant and the moment John used salt instead of sugar...

Nadiya's winning speech has to get a look in, too, surely?! And, frankly, we'd take any scene that Selasi was in, ever.

Really, the possibilities are endless.

Announcing the show on Twitter, Bake Off's official account teased: "Missing the Bake Off Tent already?

"Fear not, as we're back for a scrumptious feast of Best Bits from the last 10 years of the show!"

The Bake Off special will air on Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4, right when your GBBO itch will start to kick in. Delightful.

Reacting to the news of another episode, it's safe to say that fans were pleased.

"Always excited for more cake," wrote one after the news was announced.

As another tagged their friend and wrote: "Looks like we have one more week of Tuesday Treats".

"Brilliant!!!! Roll on Tuesday," wrote another.

While we don't know much about the contents of the episode, we do know it features a look back at all time favourites including Norman, Flo and Kim-Joy.

We. Cannot. Wait.

That's not it from the Bake Off crew, either, as we'll also get not one but two festive specials over the holidays.

They do spoil us.

The festive specials will be filled with yet more tasty treats, and see former contestants James Hillery from the 2017 series, Ruby Bhogal, from the 2018 series, and Rosie Brandreth-Poynter and Jamie Finn from the 2019 series go head to head for the Christmas Star Baker title.

Plus, Alexandra Burke will be stopping by to give a special performance of Silent Night to really kickstart the Christmassy mood.

You might notice that Noel Fielding isn't in the show's festive specials.

The comedian will be replaced by Extra Slice presenter Tom Allen, who will host alongside newcomer Matt Lucas at putting our batch of bakers through their paces.

However, Noel's exit will only be temporary, with a Bake Off spokesperson confirming to the Metro that the star was on paternity leave while the Christmas episodes were filmed.

Bring on the cake!
