Noel Fielding will be bowing out of The Great British Bake Off for the show's festive specials.
The comedian will be replaced by Extra Slice presenter Tom Allen, who will host alongside newcomer Matt Lucas at putting our batch of bakers through their paces.
However, Noel's exit will only be temporary, with a Bake Off spokesperson confirming to the Metro that the star was on paternity leave while the Christmas episodes were filmed.

This year's special will see former contestants James Hillery from the 2017 series, Ruby Bhogal, from the 2018 series, and Rosie Brandreth-Poynter and Jamie Finn from the 2019 series go head to head for the Christmas Star Baker title.
Alexandra Burke will be stopping by to give a special performance of Silent Night to really kickstart the Christmassy mood.

The news comes after judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith crowned student Peter Sawkins the champion of GBBO 2020.
The 20-year-old beat fellow finalists Laura and Dave to take the title in a closely-fought finale.

"I can't quite believe that I'm here," he said. "I can't quite believe I made it on the show, I can't quite believe the show happened. 'This is going to be a really huge chapter of my life."
Peter decided to enter Bake Off after the series had inspired him to get into cooking.
And if you think you can match up to Peter's baking prowess, applications are now open for GBBO 2021.
