This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season eight, episode three.

While episode three of Game of Thrones seemingly proved wrong everyone who thought that Bran Stark was the Night King, another theory is now floating around about the character.

The epic instalment saw him make it out of the Battle of Winterfell alive, and it seemed clear he wasn't linked to the Night King when the leader of the undead was stabbed by Ayra and Bran survived.

However, fans have more suspicions following the episode, and now think he's actually evil - and it's all because of how long he warged for in the Godswood.

Some fans believe when Bran was warging, he went back in time to make a deal with the Night King.

On Reddit, one Game of Thrones stan wrote: "I think there's more going on then what meets the eye. Why else was Bran warged for so long? Could it be going back in time to prevent all this bloodshed? Could he have been making a deal with The Night King? When The Night King walked up to Bran, he looked like he accepted his fate.

"I just feel like The Night King is Bran, The Night King was going to kill Bran to destroy himself. I mean the way The Night King just looked at Bran, it felt like he had to do it when he didn't want to. Arya ruined the plans for Bran. After all this and then they're already going to battle with Cersei?"

"Something just doesn't feel right," the Reddit user concluded, prompting an influx of replies.

And now others also don't believe that it's the end of the Night King either as they felt his demise was 'too simple', and that Ayra may have ruined Bran's plans by stabbing him, and there's more to this than meets the eye.

Hopefully the next episode will provide some much needed answers...
