'Gogglebox' Fans Gutted As Giles And Mary Are Absent From Latest Episode

Gogglebox viewers were gutted after fan-favourite couple Giles and Mary failed to appear in last week's instalment of the beloved Channel 4 show.
Giles and Mary have appeared on the show since 2015, and never fail to amuse fans with their witty remarks and adorable relationship.
But the couple's absence sparked concern among viewers, who all took to Twitter to question where they could be.
"Where are Giles and Mary tonight?!?!? Actually fumin [sic]," questioned one person. While somebody else tweeted: "Where were Giles and Mary tonight we missed them they are our favourite couple #Gogglebox."
Another Twitter user declared: "I miss Giles and Mary. I hope they are back next week."
"#Gogglebox ain't the same without Giles, like a fry up without black pudding..." shared another on the social media platform as the episode aired.

Thankfully, one of Gogglebox's creators provided answers for fans missing the couple.
Tania Alexander tweeted that the couple were on holiday when filming for Friday's episode took place, but confirmed that they will be back on screens for the next episode of Gogglebox.
Replying directly to one fan questioning why Giles and Mary weren't on their screen, Tani said: "On hols. Back next week."

While she didn't reveal where the Gogglebox stars went on holiday, we can only hope that Giles and Mary provide some hilarious tales from their travels in the next episode.
The married couple appear on the Channel 4 show from their shared home in Wiltshire.
They met at aged 21, when Giles was studying at Wimbledon Art School and Mary was working as a model.
