With the Game of Thrones final season just around the corner, there's no doubt we'll have soon said goodbye to some of our favourite characters. While we have no real idea who will survive, some fans think Sansa Stark might not make the cut - and their theory will blow your mind.
Eagle-eyed fans believe they spotted some evidence in the GoT season eight teaser trailer, that nods to Sansa's death. It's linked to the statue of Sansa in the Winterfell crypt, where if you look closely, you'll notice Robb, Catelyn and Ned are modeled after what they looked like at the age they died. Now, if you look at Sansa's statue, you'll see that she looks to be pretty much the same age that she is right now, as we enter season eight.

Not only this - Arya Stark's statue also looks to be about the same age as she is now, which could suggest the two sisters will not make it through the final season, which we know will be utter carnage now the Night King and his White Walkers have broken down the wall.
But surely there's got to be more evidence for people to believe Sansa won't make it through? Well, the very fact that Jon Snow's statue in the Stark family crypt looks to be a hell of a lot older (and therefore he has longer to live) would certainly support the theory.
In the eagerly anticipated trailer, which HBO dropped back in January, we see Sansa welcome Daenerys Targaryen to Winterfell by saying "Winterfell is yours, your grace." Obviously, this is a very courteous greeting, but as one Reddit user brought to our attention, it's almost exactly the same as what Ned Stark told Robert Baratheon when he came to Winterfell. "Winterfell is yours," he said, shortly before getting his head chopped off. Could the same be in store for Sansa?

While these signs are slightly worrying for Sansa's fate, Sophie Turner's latest comments would suggest they could all just be a coincidence.
"Most of the people coming out on top are women," she recently told British Vogue, which is exactly what we like to hear. "I'd say the key players this season are all female."
