It's been a year since the Friends reunion was confirmed and we've been eagerly waiting for more news about everyone's favourite Nineties sitcom since then.

And now, in TV news we couldn't BE any more excited for, it seems that the reunion we've been counting down the days for could finally be on its way - sooner than we think.

Greg Grande, the show's original set designer, teased a photo of what appears to be the set-up for the reunion... and it's remarkably familiar.

Taking to Instagram, Greg shared a sneak peek of a recreation of Monica's apartment.

Eager fans of the show recognised the set's famous purple walls, cream sofa and turquoise kitchen units in the snap, while Greg teased: "Sssh! Somethings happening, deja vu... coming alive once again!".

And that's not the only confirmation we can get excited about.

Just last month, David Schwimmer, who played Ross, revealed that filming for the much longed-for reunion would be happening in April.

Speaking to radio host Andy on Sirius XM, he said the reunion was finally a-go, adding that "in little over a month I'm heading over to LA."

"We figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we film outside, because of, you know, for safety protocols."

The reunion show will mark the first time the six actors have appeared on screen together since 2004, though the actors have taken to social media to share photos of their meet-ups in recent years.

In January, Jennifer Aniston shared a pic with co-stars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, while the actress "broke" Instagram when she shared a pic of the whole cast when she joined the site in 2019.

Friends ran for 10 years from 1994 to 2004. It followed twentysomethings Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe and Joey as they navigated life in New York.

And, if you want to re-watch the show prior to the reunion episode, it's currently streaming now on Netflix.
