The HBO Max reunion will be unscripted, and is currently scheduled to film in early September.

The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reunion is officially coming to HBO Max this month, with the original cast in toe.

Yep, Will Smith, Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian Banks) and Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz) are returning for the show's 30th anniversary - appearing on screens together to honour the milestone.

Sadly, James Avery, who played Uncle Phil in the show, died in 2013 - but we are sure the cast will pay tribute to him during the episode.

The Fresh Prince cast all virtually got together for Snapchat series 'Will From Home' in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, but this is the first time they're all returning for a proper TV reunion.

The show is currently scheduled for taping on the 10th September, and is set to air around Thanksgiving (26th November).

Unfortunately, it won't be a scripted sitcom, and the cast won't be returning as their beloved characters.

Instead, much like the upcoming Friends reunion, the show will see the actors and actresses look back at their time on set and reflect on the six seasons they filmed from 1990 to 1996.

It will air on HBO Max, and is promising to be "a funny and heartfelt night full of music, dancing, and special surprise guests".

We're in.

The show ran for 150 episodes on NBC and became a favourite for many worldwide, with everyone doing 'The Carlton Dance' across the globe.

It starred I Am Legend actor Smith as a fictionalised version of himself who has been sent to live with his wealthy aunt and uncle in their Bel-Air home after getting into a fight in Philadelphia, his home town.

While the reunion is all fun and games, if its more dramatised content you want then fear not.

The Fresh Prince is coming back as a TV special, too, and Will Smith is on board.

Yep, a new show will be based on what super fan Morgan Cooper envisaged a 2020 Fresh Prince would be up to now, and he'll co-write, direct and co-executive producer it.

We don't yet know the full cast or air date as the show is still in the early stages, but we'll update you as soon as we have more details.
