Will Smith Is Working On A 'Fresh Prince Of Bel Air' Reboot
Simply titled Bel-Air, the four-minute long trailer by fan and director Morgan Cooper, is a dark retelling of the beloved 90s sitcom which starred Smith.
Since it was posted on YouTube in March last year, it's clocked up 2.4 million views - one of which came from the 51-year-old actor, who loved it so much he wanted to turn it into a TV series.
"Morgan did a ridiculous trailer for Bel-Air," he said at the time. "Brilliant idea - the dramatic version of The Fresh Prince for the next generation."

According to Hollywood Reporter, the Bad Boys actor has been working with Cooper on the project ever since, serving as executive producer with his company Westbrook Studios producing alongside Universal.
Andy and Susan Borowitz, the creators of the original show - which ran for 148 episodes over six seasons from 1990 to 1996 - will serve as executive producers, along original executive producers Quincy Jones and Benny Medina.
Excitingly, Netflix, HBO Max and Peacock are currently among the platforms in a bidding war to stream the show.
Anyone else have a feeling Morgan Cooper is laughing right now?
