We love keeping up with Nigella Lawson and all her recipes, cooking tips and unique pronunciations (shout out to "micro-wav-ay") on her hit show Cook, Eat, Repeat. This week viewers noticed a rather unusual kitchen tool.
After mixing her dough into a "dense, sticky mixture", Nigella grabbed a leopard print shower cap seemingly from her kitchen counter and placed it on top of the mixing bowl.
She explains: "All it needs from me is to cover it to prove for about 16 hours or until it's really risen in volume with a wonderfully spongy surface."

One Twitter user said: "why is everyone still talking about Mïkro-Wahvé when tonight it was revealed that @Nigella_Lawson uses a leopard print shower cap to prove her dough?
Another viewer said: "Anyone else just purchased a leopard print shower cap specifically to cover bread dough when proving?"

More viewers praised Nigella for her novel idea, one person said: "just saw using a shower cap to put over a bowl to prove, that's such a good idea!"
We predict there's going to be an increase in the number of shower caps used to prove bread. Another Twitter user shared: "Sat here aperol spritz in hand contemplating making them right now #CookEatRepeat love the shower cap on the bowl for proving"
