Five Guys A Week viewers were left fuming last night when three contestants decided to walk out of the show in the middle of the night.

And it was honestly one of the most childish things we've ever witnessed on telly!

It all kicked off when 33-year-old Nina invited five men to stay with her at her home in Sunderland - Joe, Dale, Scott, Carl and Mark.

The premise of the show (which has just been renewed for a second season) is simple - one woman welcomes five men into her home as live-in boyfriends. The potential suitors all have the opportunity to battle it out and win her affections.

Each day, she must ditch one of the men, before being left with just one guy at the end of the week.

In Nina's case, she decided to send Carl home on day one, before joining the rest of the contestants on a night out.

But things escalated during the course of the evening and Nina ended up having a cheeky kiss with Scott. So far, so good. However, when Mark, Dale and Joe found out, they were absolutely fuming.

So fuming in fact, that they actually waited until everyone was asleep before staging a walk out. Wow.

The next day, Nina was understandably shocked by their actions. She said: "So we're down from four guys to one guy because they've all stormed off in a mood. They're more miffed I didn't kiss them."

And viewers on Twitter were fuming about what went down, with one tweeting: "These guys are being so toxic on five guys a week. She's on a dating show and she kissed one of them and then they slate her and walk out. Toxic masculinity at its finest."

While another said: "HANG IN A SECOND - did the bloke who tried to kiss her on day 1 just judge her for kissing someone day 2?"

One user called the men "cowards", writing: "WHAT A BUNCH OF COWARDS. Did they not understand the show? They're virtuous act is nothing but drunken jealousy and literally they've talked themselves into leaving after too many drinks. Mugs"

Others were simply revelling in the drama of the show.

In the end, all three men returned before walking out again shortly afterwards. By this time, Nina had already decided Scott was the man for her, so it didn't make much difference.

Not cool, lads. Not cool!
