This looks actually terrifying.

I'm A Celeb starts in just a couple of days, and the first photos from the spooky Gwrych Castle in north Wales have just been released.

The stunning (and supposedly haunted) castle is located in Conwy and has had the ultimate transformation to make it suitable for the show.

Of course, fans will know the series usually takes places in the Australian jungle... but what is waiting for this year's line up of celebs is quite different - let's hope there's some decent heating!

The camp looks particularly eery, with mattress-less rusty beds set in what looks like a dingy old dungeon. The campfire is located inside the adjoining living area - and it's the only source of heat.

If contestants need to use the toilet they have to venture out in freezing temperatures to the privy which is basically a spooky old shed.

And when it comes to hygiene, the castle facilities aren't quite the jungle shower. Instead, celebs have been given a teeny tin bath and a watering can.

But that's not all - celebs won't be able to shower alone as the water needs to be generated by another campmate from a nearby water pump!

Replacing the Outback Shack is Ye Oldee Shoppe and instead of Kiosk Kev, say hello to his long lost cousin Kiosk Cledwyn.

There are still many similarities to the Aussie version of course. Celebs will exchange Castle Coins for treats as normal and will compete in trials for food. As usual, if they fail, they'll be eating rice and beans!

The show will begin on Sunday evening, with ITV explaining contestants have all been isolating for two weeks ahead of the series.

ITV Studios Director of Entertainment, Richard Cowles, said: "Everyone on the production team has worked incredibly hard to bring I'm A Celebrity to Wales and a massive part of making that possible has been developing our protocols around Covid.

"We have worked with ITV's Independent Chief Medical Officer Dr Paul Litchfield, ITV's Health and Safety Department and our own health and safety and medical teams to keep everyone connected with the production, both in front of and behind the camera, as safe as possible."

Earlier this week, ITV finally released the line up for this year's show.

Landing in the jungle will be BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, plus author Giovanna Fletcher (who is also married to McFly's Tom Fletcher).

EastEnders royalty, Shane Richie will also be swapping his home comforts for the castle, alongside TV host Vernon Kay.

Meanwhile, gold medal winning Olympian Mo Farah will also be heading to the castle, as well as record breaking British parasport javelin athlete Hollie Arnold and Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard.

BBC journalist Victoria Derbyshire is also confirmed to be a 2020 contestant, as well soap stars Jessica Plummer from EastEnders and Coronation Street fave, Beverley Callard.

Phew! What a line up! You know where to find us on Sunday evening...
