Netflix's new drama, Firefly Lane, seems to be everyone's new obsession - and quite rightly so.
The ten-part series, based on Kristin Hannah's novel of the same name, follows the friendship between two best friends from their teens to their 40s - Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate Mularkey (Sarah Chalke).
But it's not just the lovable and oddly matched duo who have made the show a smash-hit success, according to fans, the hunky male eye candy doesn't hurt, either.

Enter Max Brody actor, Jon-Michael Ecker:
Sharing a collage of pictures of the heart-throb, one fan of the show wrote: "Me: I watch #FireflyLane for the plot... The Plot".

And plenty of viewers seemed to agree that Brazilian-American actor Jon was one of the main draws, seeing as the tweet quickly amassed 456 'likes' and 67 'retweets'.
"Max Brody is an actual angel of a man and I have never crushed so hard on a TV character. @netflix #FireflyLane," wrote another fan of the show, as they binged it.
While a fellow Firefly Lane fan agreed: "Can I have my own Max Brody #FireflyLane".

In the series, Max is Tully's love interest - a handsome and down to earth EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) who sweeps Tallulah Hart (Heigl) off her feet after the pair meet in a bar.
We won't give any spoilers away, but their love story is a rocky one at times - mainly due to the fact that Max is a lot younger than Tully - but ultimately one that fans are left shipping throughout.
In case you think you've seen Jon before, the 37-year-old actor started his career in the Mexican version of Gossip Girl, before going on to feature in Narcos, Queen of the South, Criminal Minds and Chicago Fire.
He didn't always want to be an actor, though - and that's despite his dad being Spanish-telenovela star Guy Ecker.

Before finding fame, the star - Born in San Marcos, Texas - worked as a research diver for five years, after getting a degree in aquatic biology.
It's only when Jon joined acting school "on a whim" that he ended up on screens - and thank God he did!
Unfortunately, for all those crushing on the actor, his Instagram indicates he does have a girlfriend. Yep, the Max Brody actor has been dating America's Next Top Model season 19 star, Laura James, since January last year.
His socials show that he hasn't let TV fame get to his head either - they show him enjoying the great outdoors, out on boats, sitting by campfires and taking in the wildlife.
Just when we thought we couldn't love him any more!
