The big man himself, Father Christmas, appeared on This Morning but rather than getting the viewers in the festive mood he scared most of them.
Chris Cringle appeared on the sofa with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes for a Christmas phone in but viewers weren't impressed.
During the phone in, Father Christmas spoke to children to ask them about their Christmas lists and see if they were on the naughty or nice list.
Some viewers labelled him creepy and said that if they went to visit that Santa in his grotto they would be leaving in tears.
One viewer wrote: "This Santa is scaring me, I dread to think what he's doing to the kids."
Another added: "Now I understand why kids cry when they go see Santa. He's creepy af # ThisMorning", a third said: "Wtf is going on with Santa on #ThisMorning proper weirdo?"
Santa also told the children that even if they move house or are on holiday for Christmas he will 'find them' and we're not going to lie it sounded a bit Liam Neeson-esque.

Even the viewers noticed, one wrote: "Sounded a bit creepy there Santa "I'll find you" #Thismorning."
However, if you are a parent who is working over Christmas and your kids are wondering why Santa will be arriving on a different day from the 25th one mum has created letters from Santa to explain why.

Parents can print off the letter at home and fill it in with their kids to rearrange the present delivery for another day.
Steph Lynn created five different letters for military professionals, medical professionals, pilots and flight crew, divorced families and a general letter.
The letter includes tick box so that Santa can pay the children a visit on a different day and ends with a heartwarming note: "Always remember, Christmas isn't about a box on the calendar, but the feeling we keep in our hearts.
"Thank you for being such great children, and sharing your mums and dads with us all when we need them the most."
