Netflix has released a trailer for its new romcom, Falling Inn Love - and it's as gloriously cheesy as its name suggests.

The streaming site has already proven it can do romance with originals such as To All The Boys I've Loved Before and A Christmas Prince, so it's no wonder their new movie is already being dubbed the "perfect" chick flick by excited fans.

The film centres around American city exec, Gabriela Diaz - played by singer Christina Milian - whose life turns upside down after she loses her job and her boyfriend.

On a whim, she then enters a competition to win an inn, and given the title of the film, it should be no surprise that she bags it.

However, when she gets there, she realises the property, named Bellbird Valley Farm, is in a bit of a state, and she hires Australian handyman Jake Taylor (played by Adam Demos) to help her out.

Naturally, the pair then fall in love as they fix up the rustic property, and the film follows their sweet romance and the inevitable bumps along the road.

The trailer features everything you'd expect from a true romantic classic, from sweeping landscapes to Demos' impressive gym honed torso.

In one adorably cringey moment, Gabriela can be seen uttering "wow" to herself as she looks on at her chiseled beau, while in another the pair are about to share a steamy kiss when they are interrupted by a stray goat - you couldn't make it up.

"Falling inn love is already the perfect rom com. No further questions," one excited fan wrote after watching the trailer.

While another agreed: "A predictable cheesy rom-com? Sign me up! It's my guilty pleasure."

Others were quick to point out Netflix could have maybe thought of a slightly more inventive title for the film.

"Ohhhhhh snap. #FallingINNLove is the best worst name for that movie," one joked, before adding: "I love it already".

The film will premiere on the streaming platform on August 29th.

A rom-com like this certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea, but frankly, we cannot wait.
