Fans were disappointed to learn that Evan Peters wouldn't be making an appearance in season nine of FX special series American Horror Story but now the actor has teased his future on the show.
Evan has been a staple member of the cast throughout. And even though the actor isn't a part of American Horror Story: 1984 he hasn't ruled out a potential appearance later down the line.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Evans was asked if he'd return to the popular series, and the 32-year-old said he wouldn't write it off.
He said: "Yeah, absolutely, never say never. I just...Yeah, we'll see what happens." Sounds promising to us.

In April, a trailer for the upcoming season was released, featuring a woman running from a masked killer in the woods and has been described as having an 80s slasher movie aesthetic.
The trailer says that season nine will hit our screens in autumn, and given that all the other seasons premiered in September and October we can expect AHS: 1984 to be released around then.

Emma Roberts and Gus Kenworthy are confirmed cast members for the upcoming season.
However, it is uncertain whether or not Sarah Paulson - who has been in every single season - will be back for AHS: 1984 as nothing has been said to her yet.

Speaking to Syfy in April, she said: "I think... all I can say is I know the least about this season upcoming that I've known about any season. I don't even know... yeah, that's all I can say.
"Usually, I have more information at this point, and I'm bugging Ryan [Murphy] with questions. Right now, I don't have a lot and yeah, I'm so busy with Ratched, it's hard for me to think about anything beyond that."
