Emily In Paris fans, we've got some good news for you - the bingeable Netflix comedy is now back in production.

The streaming giant announced that Lily Collins and co are back filming in the French capital city, as well as St Tropez, for the show's hotly-anticipated second season.

After its release in October last year, Emily in Paris - from the mind of Sex and The City creator Darren Star - followed a young woman who moved from Chicago to Paris to provide an American perspective to her marketing firm's boutique agency, Savoir.

Despite getting some mixed reviews from critics, the show reached 58 million households across the globe in its first 28 days, making it their most popular comedy series of 2020.

Star said: "I am thrilled to be returning to Paris for a second season to continue Emily's adventures in the magical 'City of Light.'"

Speaking about the project, Lily, 32, said in a press release: "As an actor, an artist, and a creative, the most meaningful gift is to connect with people through your art in some way.

"It's an honour to be associated with a project that provided people with some much-needed relief during a trying time when everyone was looking for a reason to smile and laugh.

"Not only did playing Emily teach me more about myself, but also about the world around me," Lily continued.

"I couldn't be happier to be back in Paris for season two to expand upon those lessons, to continue to grow, and learn even more about this beautiful city and all of its character with Emily."

The show was (controversially) nominated for two Golden Globes last year - one for Best Musical or Comedy, and Lily Collins received the nod for Best Actress.

However, Emily In Paris sadly missed out against another hit comedy, Schitt's Creek, in both categories.
