There are some things in life people love that people just can't agree on - take liquorice, Crocs or the smell of petrol. But on the weirder end of this scale is pimple popping.

The squeezing of spots, cysts and blackheads has become such a guilty pleasure that the satisfying hobby has even been turned into a TV show.

First there was Dr. Pimple Popper, featuring dermatologist Sandra Lee, who started popping spots on TV for US fans. And now, UK spot popping lovers have their own show to feast their eyes on...

The Bad Skin Clinic is landing on Quest Red this summer (release date TBC), and it looks just as stomach-churning as its US counterpart.

It will see consultant dermatologist Dr. Emma Craythorne and her team of experts help patients with all of their skin problems. Naturally this involves a lot of extractions - the medical term for spot popping.

Filmed at their clinic in London's Harley Street, the team will meet with people with unusual skin conditions, helping them transform their skin and their confidence. In some cases, this involves dealing with large cysts, blackheads and lipoma removals.

Speaking about the new series, Quest Red's Clare Laylock said: "I am absolutely delighted to bring The Bad Skin Clinic and Dr. Emma to Quest Red.

"She is so passionate about helping others on their journey to feeling better about themselves and living lives free of embarrassment and I know viewers will love this series as much as they do My 600lb Life and Dr. Pimple Popper.

"From first glance, through treatment and jaw-dropping transformations, this series will feature some incredibly emotional stories and a good few eye-watering procedures and memorable moments along the way."

The Bad Skin Clinic follows the enormous success of Dr. Pimple Popper, dermatologist Sandra Lee, who found fame after her spot-popping YouTube videos became wildly popular.
