Titled A Holly Dolly Christmas, the jolly one-off special will see Dolly, 74, perform an intimate candle-lit set, singing both festive numbers, carols and religious hymns.
The Tennessee-native will also be sharing Christmas stories and faith-based recollections of the Yuletide season with viewers at home, as well as performing tracks from her upcoming Christmas album also titled A Holly Dolly Christmas.
The show will air on Sunday, December 6th on American network CBS. A UK airdate and availability are currently TBC.

"A special with the multi-Grammy Award-winning, prolific song-writing, epic live performer of all time? She had us at hello. There's only one Dolly Parton, and we are so excited to be bringing her to viewers this holiday season."
A Holly Dolly Christmas is just one of the many of the festive offerings Dolly is serving up this year.
The country legend is also starring in Netflix Original Christmas on the Square.
The synopsis reads: "A rich and nasty woman returns to her hometown to evict everyone but discovers the true meaning of Christmas thanks to the local townsfolk - and an actual angel. Features 14 original songs with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton!"
Alongside Dolly, the film also stars Mamma Mia's Christine Baranski and Jenifer Lewis, and will be released on November 22nd.
