When we first started watching Dirty John back in 2018, we were hooked. And now, just in time for lockdown, the Season 2 trailer has been released.
This time, the popular show, Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story will focus on a new case of murder and deception, following the story of Betty, who killed her ex-husband Dan Broderick and his second wife Linda, in 1989.
In the trailer, viewers are given a glimpse inside the infamous story, which sees Betty (Amanda Peet) discovering her husband Dan (Christian Slater) is having an affair.

"I wanted a husband and a family. Dan needed a wife that could wait on him. I would have been treated better if I'd been a dog and served my master," she can be heard saying in the voiceover.
"I was married for 16 years and then he turns 40 and he's walking out with a 19-year-old and a sports car."
Despite the pair ending up in the divorce court, things escalate and the split turns very nasty indeed.

Viewers see Betty led out of the house in a straight jacket, insisting: "Dan had me committed to a psych ward, but I'm not the crazy one, he is."
The couple had four children together and began the divorce proceedings in 1986, having met in the '60s and married in 1969.
But over the period of three years before Betty eventually murdered Dan and his new wife, the situation escalates dramatically.

In the trailer, viewers see this unfold, with Betty spray painting a door, driving her car into the front of Dan's home and eventually holding a gun.
"I'm amazed it only took one bullet to kill Dan Broderick," Betty says.
Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story is expected to arrive this summer on USA Network. It's unknown when it will arrive in the UK, but we've got our fingers crossed it's ASAP.
