Dani Dyer Confirms She Is Starring In A Musical With Danny Dyer On Instagram
Dani Dyer has announced that she will be starring alongside her dad, Danny Dyer, in Nativity! The Musical this Christmas.
The Love Island star took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that she will be joining her dad on stage at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London in December.
Sharing the update with fans, Dani explained how excited she was about her new gig, adding that the show was going to be 'proper Christmassey'.
Dani will play the role of Polly Parker, an aspiring actress living in Los Angeles whose father will go to any lengths to secure her a dream role in a Hollywood film.
Polly Parker is the daughter of Danny's character Mr Lewis Parker, and the musical tells the story of a primary school teacher trying to mount a musical production of the nativity story. The teacher, Mr Maddens, promises he will get a big-shot producer on board to see the show.
In a press release, Dani said: "I am so excited to make my stage debut in Nativity! and with my dad! It is going to be so much fun and will be lovely for us to be in a musical together at Christmas time, I just can't wait."
Nativity! The Musical Director Debbie Isitt said: "I made Nativity! The Musical to give families the opportunity to watch a funny and touching Christmas musical together - and like with the films - we have created a family in the making of the show.
"Bringing the brilliant Danny Dyer together with his gorgeous daughter Dani on stage will be great fun for audiences and highlight how important families are at Christmas time.
"I'm really excited to work with them both - it is going to be a lot of fun! Children, animals and two Dyers? Bring on the sparkle and shine!"
Nativity! The Musical is on at the Eventim Apollo from the 19th to 31st December 2018 and tickets are available to buy here.
The shows should give fans their Dyer fix before the family's reality show hits our screens.
Filming for Dani Dyer's family reality show has officially begun, and it will also star her nan and granddad 'Bruv'.
Dani revealed the news on the Capital Breakfast Show, but added that opening her life up to the cameras again has taken some getting used to.
She explained: "Yeah, we've just sort of started. It's exciting.
"It is hard work though, it's sort of back to all that again, ain't it? I'm like, 'Oh no Dan, here we go again'."
