From trolling Sea Captains to holding mops under her boobs, Daisy May Cooper never fails to entertain us - and her latest comedy moment is no exception.

In what may be the most iconic TV scene of 2020, the This Country star devoured a whole watermelon in one minute with Richard Herring on Taskmaster.

You can watch the strangely mesmerising video here:

Thursday night's episode of the popular game show saw Daisy and Richard donning boiler suits for their challenge.

The duo entered a room filled with smashed up water melons, where they proceeded to chow down on as mush of the pink, mushy melon flesh as they could in a minute.

We'll level with you: this is car crash viewing. There's heaving, wretching and pink melon-y dribble, but somehow we just can't look away.

Like a pair of ravenous melon zombies, Daisy and Keith shove melon segments into each other's mouths.

"Keep it down, try not to spit on me!" says Richard through a mouthful of fruity mush. "It's like the walking dead."

As the challenge comes to an end, Daisy breaks into hysterical laughter.

Viewers were left either disturbed or in absolute stitches.

"Daisy May Cooper eating a watermelon has to be the most iconic tv moment of the year," tweeted one.

Another commented: "2020 was peak weird but then there was Daisy-May Cooper eating watermelon on Taskmaster."

"Daisy May Cooper makes me cry laughing! I'm never eating melon again!" wrote a third.

While another fan chimed in: "Why is the sight of Daisy May Cooper simultaneously eating melon and retching so funny?"

Daisy, Richard, we can't unsee this.
