Any Friends fan knows you simply cannot move a piece of furniture without shouting 'pivot' the entire time, and luckily Courteney Cox is well rehearsed on the script.

The actress even recreated the iconic scene in which her on-screen brother Ross attempts to carry his large couch up a windy set of stairs to his apartment.

Taking to Instagram, Courteney shared a video of her other half Johnny McDaid moving a big table with the help of his friends, while Courteney assists in true Geller style by shouting 'PIVOTTTT!'

One of Johnny's friends says: "That's so helpful, thank you," before she compliments their techniques telling them: "You've got good pivoting."

Obviously, it went down a treat with Friends fans who commented: "This never gets old," and we agree.

And another posted: "Ross was right, the next best thing should have been Monica."

Continuing with the joke, a third replied: "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up."

The Geller siblings have provided some sterling social media content this year, after David Schwimmer recently responded to an appeal from Blackpool Police, who were looking for a suspected thief who looked a lot like him.

The police search went viral with thousands of fans sharing the video of the suspect stealing a crate of beer from a shop.

Even cops from Blackpool Police joined in on the joke, posting: "Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses. We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date. We're so sorry it has to be this way."

After being alerted to the uncanny likeness, David recreated the CCTV footage and shared in on social media.

Tweeting using the hashtag #itwasntme, Schwimmer wrote: "Officers, I swear it wasn't me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation."
